Tiffany Thompson leads Echoing Green's equity-driven work, which is comprised of Echoing Green’s inclusive entrepreneurship and racial equity strategy.
A large body of her work is centered around the development of global and cross-sector partnerships, managing thought leadership initiatives, and working collaboratively across the organization to build equity concepts into all aspects of Echoing Green's strategy.
Tiffany has more than a decade of experience leading equity-driven social impact and social innovation program design and implementation. Before returning to Echoing Green, Tiffany served as an independent consultant. Her work includes developing culturally-competent impact strategy plans with multiple social innovators and social impact organizations, including the Roddenberry Foundation, Tech Talent Project, and Advocates for Youth.
Tiffany previously served as Senior Associate for Echoing Green's Black Male Achievement Fellowship Program, where she supported next-gen social entrepreneurs dedicated to improving the life outcomes of Black men & boys in the U.S. She helped expand Echoing Green's Black Male Achievement Fellowship and collaborated to secure $2.1 million to support the fellowship program. In the political sector, Tiffany prioritized strategizing for social impact initiatives. In Washington, D.C., she partnered with senior White House administrative officials for My Brother's Keeper (MBK), worked in a supportive capacity for President Barack Obama's MBK Community Challenge and with leading consulting firm, Deloitte LLP on launching the MBK Alliance, now entirely housed within the Obama Foundation. Tiffany also worked for Mayor Nutter's Youth Commission and AccessMatters' CDC teen pregnancy prevention initiative in Philadelphia.
Tiffany currently serves as Board Chair for the non-profit organization, WeThrive, and was previously on the board of directors for Temple University Black Alumni Alliance. She was named a top 100 Black youth leader by the Black Youth Project and the recipient of the Philadelphia NAACP Humanitarian Award. Tiffany holds a certificate in leadership development and earned her Bachelor's degree from Temple University and her Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she was a Sheila C. Johnson Fellow with the Center for Public Leadership.
