As a 24-year-old medical student, Raj Panjabi returned to Liberia to co-found Last Mile Health, and since joining Echoing Green, has expanded to serve the world’s most remote communities. Along with receiving the Skoll Award and the TED Prize, Raj was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, and continues to give back as an Echoing Green board member.
Wendy Kopp came to Echoing Green with her college thesis: the idea for Teach For America. Joining Echoing Green helped turn her idea into an international game-changer. Wendy said, “Echoing Green was there for me from that point onward. With financial support, moral support, welcoming me into a network of incredible change makers who I learned a tremendous amount from.”

During a board training cohort, Gilbertson Cuffy experienced a reflective journey wrapped in executive coaching and leadership skills building. After the program, he was inspired to join the board of Community Word Project, founded by 1998 Fellow Michele Kotler.
Bart Burstein, co-founder of Pace Able Foundation, has leveraged Echoing Green’s pipeline to support cutting-edge social innovators. Pace Able has provided program support and follow-on funding to several Fellows’ organizations through access that no organization other than Echoing Green can offer.
