Race & Pathways to Employment

When Jordyn Lexton ’15 asked their students what they needed to create the future they want–for so many, the answer was employment which inspired the launch of Drive Change. Access to jobs is one piece of the puzzle, but how systems and structures reinforce inequity in the workplace also need to be addressed to build upon the positive transformation that leaders like Jordyn, Donnel Baird ’12 (BlocPower), and Jessamyn Rodriguez ’08 (Hot Bread Kitchen) are helping to build.
